Introduction

In recent times, MICE tourism has rapidly developed across the world with a potential of almost US$280 billion. This niche segment primarily depends upon large capacity Convention Centres and Auditoriums, professional staff and other add-on facilities. Its customers are companies, business houses, professionals and entrepreneurs from different cultures and regions of the world. India has emerged as the fastest growing destination for MICE tourism. The diverse cultural activities in the form of colors, festivals and fairs make India is one of the leading venues for Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions in the region. India accounted for $4.8 billion out of total world market for MICE Tourism which is just less than 2 percent of the world market.

The MICE infrastructure in the country has been developing rapidly and convention hotels and conference venues of international standards have been set up across the country.

The Plenary Hall

Established in 2008, The Kalakriti Cultural & Convention Centre is the blend of Mughal, Hindu and Persian architecture designed in auditorium style with 600 seats in descending stepped fashion, climate condition, sound proof and most comfortable with two imposing entrance gates with separate entry for VIPs. Each seated delegate has ample desk and shelf space. The sophisticated audio visual equipments with multilingual facility, sound proof press gallery, projection facilities visitors' gallery and back stage green room offer you a conference experience comparable to the best in the world.

The stage has a wide 70mm screen with back projection system can be used as a backdrop or visual projections.

Conferences and Banquets

The specious banquet hall is another attraction for hosting dinner, lunches, hi-teas and cocktails up to 600 delegates. For smaller meets we have two more meeting rooms which have the capacity to accommodate small conferences 30-40 persons each and can also be used as a business centre and secretarial services.

Exhibitions

KC&CC has spaces and areas for exhibitions and other social pursuits/cultural performances, theme parties, weddings, trade fairs etc. The lawns and gardens in the front can be easily used for day or night parties each reflecting the unique grandeur of KC&CC in dramatic contrast to the landscape.

Business Centre

Equipped with the latest documentation facilities and printing facilities its hi-tech business centre takes care of every such need, fitted with the latest computer and software technology it makes you feel like in your own office, connectivity to the world is a click away, fax, telephones & internet facilities and copiers are the other facilities available, you can even ask for your own secretary to assist you throughout your conference.

Entertainment

KC&CC houses the most attractive options in house for 80 minutes based on the immortal love of Shahjahan to his most beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal culminating in to the birth of one of the seven wonders so called The Taj Mahal by 60 artists and on the replica of Taj Mahal weighing 8500 k.g. and size 12 X 12 feet fitted on hydraulic lift beneath the stage. Presently this live show is happening in the evening but may be booked exclusively for the delegates before or after the normal shows.

Pre & Post Convention

A vast range of accommodation options easily available in the vicinity of 5kms ranging from 5 star deluxe to 2 star hotels from the conventions centre. A world class 9 holes golf course for the keen golfers, world famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Et-Mad-Udala, Sikandra, Dayal Bagh, Mehtab Bagh, F'sikri, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Bear Rescue centre and Keetham Bird Sanctuary, Chambal Safaries, Mathura, Vrindavan etc are the world famous attractions to delegates for there historical visit and sightseeing for their spouses. At present Agra has around 3000 star category rooms.
